Tammir Ahmed Khan of Jammu and Kashmir has proved that all the impossible is possible through hard work. Tanveer Ahmed Khan, the son of a farmer from Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir, has come to lime light for securing second place in the prestigious Indian Economic Services (IES) examination conducted by the UPSC.
Khan was a good student from the beginning While studying well in school and college, He secured second position in Kashmir University entrance exams and a Post graduate’s degree in economics from the University of Kashmir. He then went to Kolkata and graduated there for Post graduate’s degree in philosophy , he studied and often pulled rickshaws for earnings .
According to Khan, during Covid, I restricted myself to the four walls of the room and started preparing for the IES exam. I never allowed Covid to influence my study schedule I worked very hard and took my first attempt as my last attempt and in the end, I was able to achieve this.
