Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has written a letter to Modi seeking to facilitate medical students from Ukrainein India so as not to disrupt their education.

 

Odia students returned to Bhubaneswar from Ukraine yesterday in the wake of the Ukraine-Russia war.
Arrived in Delhi by plane. Then they reached Bhubaneswar. The students arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport on a special flight provided by the state government. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was present at the airport and welcomed the students. The Chief Minister promised that all efforts would be made to ensure that they could continue their studies.

Hundreds of medical students from across the country, including Odisha, have been forced to return home due to the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia . over the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. There is a risk of student disruption until the situation in Ukraine improves. Therefore
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take steps to ensure that students continue their education in the medical colleges of India so as not to disrupt their studies.

The chief minister said students in the war zone were “mentally injured”. If the situation in Ukraine does not improve, the Prime Minister should immediately intervene so that the National Medical Commission and the Ministry of Education can take necessary steps . “The Odisha government will cooperate in this regard,” he said.
