Concern has been expressed in the assembly regarding the issue of protection of Ratna Bhandar of Puri temple. Congress MLA Santosh Singh Saluja raised this issue during the free time and asked the state government to clarify whether the Ratna Bhandar is safe or not. Raghubir Das’s report was presented in the house and MLA Santosh Singh Saluja demanded that the speaker rule on it.
He said that the state government has so far constituted 24 commissions and spent crores of rupees on various issues, but the report of 8 commissions has not been presented in the house.
