Bhubaneswar – Thousands of Kansari(Brass Utensil makers) families in Odisha, the bronze industry, artisans and business groups in Odisha are in dire straits for Lockdown and Corona.
There is life, but Earning is gone. The government has extended a helping hand to various industries, small businesses, and other people affected by corona an lock down, but no assistance has been announced for Kansari families. Sudarshan Mohapatra, general secretary of the Odisha Kansari Social Development Council, has demanded that the state government take immediate legal action and announce a special financial assistance for the caste.
